Our ALU5 VIEW windows are double glazed as standard. This creates excellent heat retention, with U-values as low as 1.3Wm²k. Our triple gasket system keeps heat inside the property in winter and stops cold draughts from entering. The insulation in our double glazed windows also has the added benefit of reducing noise pollution. The Visiline AlU6 View windows are customisable in a range of ways, depending on your concerns. By choosing different glass and hardware options, you can create a window solution that suits your style and your specifications.
To choose the right glass option, you must first consider what you want your windows to do for your home. If you want high light transmission, then the LowE clear glass is the perfect option. Alternatively, if you want to improve your home’s insulation, Super LowE has low emissivity, which reduces heat loss.
A premium option, which combines low emissivity and high energy efficiency is the Planistar® Sun glass. It helps prevent your home from overheating in the summer whilst acting as an insulator in the winter to keep your home warm.
Any of our windows can have their thermal efficiency improved by having Warm Edge technology installed, which is a thermoplastic layer that helps your windows retain the heat inside your home.
If your priority is letting in light, but you are concerned about compromising your privacy, then ornamental glass may be the best option for you. There are satin and textured options available, as well as tinted glass.
Handles are another way to customise your window that can change the appearance to best suit your home. We have minimalistic designs as well as studier ones. For example, the Arch “invisible” handles, which are embedded within the frame, help create a sleek look to the whole system. Alternatively, keys can be incorporated within the handles to increase security.
